Woven Mesh Gabion Containers for Stones and Gravel Holding Structure, Meeting Standard ASTM A975-97

Gabion Containers Structure:
Gabion containers are formed with pieces of twisted wire mesh into a rectangular or square shape before putting stone into the cage. The mesh is hexagonal opening galvanized / pvc coated / zinc coated double twist mild steel wire mesh. The container box shall be supplied in various length, width and heights. All edges of the structure are selvedged with lacing wire with thicker diameter.

Wire Materials:
Galvanized, PVC-coated galvanized and stainless steel wire are often used in gabion container making. These materials will not rust in damp and corrosive environments.

Standards Followed: 
The wire mesh used in Gabions production strictly conforms to EN10223-3 and gabions also meet the requirements of ASTM A975-97.

All wires used in Gabion Containers and lacing wire have the tensile strength of 350-500N/mm according to EN10223-3, 2 BS1052/80 and ASTM A641-97. (The wire referring to wire prior to manufacturing mesh).

Application:
Gabion basket containers are often used in civil engineering, retaining walls, slope reinforcement, residential and commercial areas with the features of good flexibility, economy, permeability and durability.
